About Seremar
Se.Re.Mar. S.r.l. is an operator from Sorrento, based on Piazza Marinai d'Italia by the harbour. It was founded in 2016, according to its own account, to offer a connection on the water between the Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, without the traffic and the search for parking on land. Alongside its routes to Capri, Positano and Amalfi, it runs excursions, skippered boat rental, and weddings and events on board.
Boats
The fleet consists of the motor vessels Benedetta II, Sirena II and Elena D, plus the Sorrento-style gozzo boats Gioli, Vivila and Jeranto, which are meant for tours and rental. The motor vessels sail to Capri, passenger vessels with no vehicle deck; which boat covers your departure is decided by the operator and can change up to the day of travel.
Routes to Capri
Seremar runs two of this site's corridors. Sorrento - Capri leaves from Marina Piccola and takes about half an hour; here Seremar is one of six operators. Castellammare di Stabia - Capri links the town on the Circumvesuviana line with the island in around an hour. The operator's timetable also lists Seiano as a departure point for Capri. According to the operator, both routes run daily from April to October, including public holidays; Seremar doesn't sail in winter. Which departures run on your date is in the timetable.
Check-in, luggage and pets
You must be at the pier with your ticket at the latest 15 minutes before departure, otherwise the operator may refuse boarding; with an online ticket you check in before boarding. Luggage of one piece up to 50 x 35 x 20 cm and 9 kg per passenger is included; anything larger or heavier travels for a fee based on size and weight. One small or medium pet per passenger travels for a fee, registered at ticket purchase, dogs on a lead and muzzled; a health and vaccination certificate must be no older than three months. Seremar doesn't carry vehicles; visitors face Campania's vehicle ban on Capri regardless.
Tickets
Tickets are available on the day of travel at the desks up to 30 minutes before departure, online through the operator's booking system, and via the booking links on this site's route pages. Infants under one travel on a free ticket, groups of 20 or more pay less, on top of which comes the island's landing fee. What the fare includes is explained on the prices page; the amount shown at checkout is binding.
