ferrycapri.com is an independent comparison site for the sea crossing to Capri. The island sits in the Gulf of Naples and is served from eighteen ports, from the Naples waterfront along the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast to the neighbouring islands of Ischia and Procida. Only two of them run all year: Naples and Sorrento. Every scheduled boat berths at Marina Grande on Capri. The site is published by Cruise Media GmbH.

The question here is therefore not which operator to pick but which port, and whether it sails on your date. Travel in January and you have two options; travel in July from the Amalfi Coast and you have a dozen. Two things trip people up on top of that. The first is the pair of Naples piers: fast craft leave from Molo Beverello, conventional ferries from Calata Porta di Massa, a quarter of an hour apart on foot, and a ticket bought for the wrong one is a missed sailing. The second is the car. The Campania region bars non-residents from bringing vehicles onto the island, in 2026 from 30 March to 2 November and again over the turn of the year, and an operator selling a vehicle fare does not change that. For almost every visitor Capri is a walking destination, which leaves time, price and starting point as the real trade-off.

It is not a Capri travel guide either: the Blue Grotto, the Faraglioni, hotels, restaurants and boat tours belong elsewhere, and Ischia and Procida appear only as departure ports.
